Client guide
Practical tips to search, compare and hire local services without surprises.
1. Define what you need
Write the job in one specific sentence, with measurements, materials and dates. A clear description reduces incomplete quotes and misunderstandings.
2. Compare at least three options
Use search with category and location filters. Check the license, service area, verified reviews and how the provider replied to negative reviews.
- Same category and same area.
- A detailed written quote.
- Start and end dates.
- Payment method and schedule.
3. Verify before paying
Confirm the license in the state registry and ask for proof of liability insurance. Be wary of full upfront payments or prices far below market.
4. Keep records and review
Keep the quote, messages and before/after photos. When finished, publish an honest review: it helps other clients and improves the directory.
